STAY > Ace Hotel, Sydney

The Ace Hotel in Sydney knows how to party. It is definitely that kind of place. If you are looking for a low key discreet place to chill, then this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for a hotel that is party central then good chance you have arrived at the right place.

Part of the Ace Hotel group, this is their first hotel in the Southern Hemisphere with others in Brooklyn, New York, Toronto, Kyoto, Seattle, Portland, Palm Springs, New Orleans and soon in Athens and Fukuoka.

Rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, tons of natural light and a few even have private terrace, all the rooms are different and they range in size from medium to suite.

EAT >

There are quite a few options in the Ace Hotel and plenty more in the surrounding streets. Kiln is the hero restaurant and bar which sits on the 18th floor, it is a smart place with great views out over Darlinghurst and Surry Hills. The Lobby bar features cocktails, wine, beers and comforting bar food. Loam is on the ground floor and is an all day restaurant open from breakfast to dinner.

And if all those options are not enough you are just a short stroll from hundreds of other places to eat only a few streets in any direction, China Town a few streets one way and the heart of Surry Hills a few streets in the other direction.
