RIDE > Fits like a glove

What is it about good gloves, I am always thinking I could use another pair and I have an obsession about Hestra gloves, personally I think that Hestra make the best gloves in the world. These days Hestra actually make gloves for everything from cycling to sailing and of course they make them for skiing.

Hestra is a small town in Sweden where the Magnusson family business is based. They began making gloves in 1936, and now the third generation is keeping the tradition of quality and function alive and well.

I now own four pairs of Hestra gloves and I love them all but this last pair that I purchased, the Wakayama is a little special. With a total retro vibe and the novel use of paracord to tighten around the wrist, they look absolutely fantastic.

Made with cow leather and stitched with the outseams down the fingers (much more comfortable) and provides a better grip. They are lined with wool (which is removable) and they have a wrist strap so you don’t drop them when you are on the lift.

Now the biggest problem is to decide which colour to get. $199 AUD from Snowsport
