DRINK > Bar Soul B, Tokyo

Bar Soul B is a bar we have walked past more than a dozen times, each time thinking we must go down and check that place out, never doing so.

But last night we decided it was time, a rainy night in Shibuya and we wandered down in the damp from a delightful dinner at Julia in Jingumae (Omotesando Hills) down to towards Cat Street.

Bar Soul B sits a street over from Cat Street and has a little less foot traffic but as you pass and see the steps that head down you think why not? Whiskey, Sherry, Cocktails and Cigars, 70’s music.

That actually sums the place up, its a small bar where the owner serves a good drink, people gather after work to drink smoke and hang out listening to some groove tunes from the seventies, quite fine in my mind.

The whiskey pour was generous and though I did not end up smoking a cigar, when I returned to my hotel it definitely felt like I had been smoking all night.
