CAFE > Room Ten, Potts Point

Llankelly Place runs parallel to Macklay Street and only a few years ago it would have been way too seedy for a fancy coffee or breakfast bar, but after all of the change in Kings Cross you are more likely to be run over by a real estate agent in a Range Rover than you are to run into a drug dealer or stripper (the times they are a changin’).

Room Ten sits in Llankelly Place and is one of the hip places to get breakfast around Sydney these days assuming you can find somewhere to park. Famed for the mushroom melts (a sandwich with three cheeses, field and shitake mushrooms, grilled fennel and marjoram) this is a place for very tasty food and good strong coffee.

The team at Room Ten also have Piña which provides a great alternative though both are often very busy and it is notoriously difficult to get a table on the weekends.
